Throwback Thursday: Graduation

Graduating college is a pretty big deal and I feel like I never got to share it with you! My plan was to start the blog immediately after graduation but there were so many other things that were going on that I wanted to share with you! I'm also feeling very reflective today because as August is about to start tomorrow it brings up all the memories of getting ready for a new school year and doing one of my favorite things which is buying new school supplies! Although it is not necessary for me to buy some school supplies I don't know if I will be able to keep myself away from an office supply store. So in honor of throwback Thursday here are some pictures from my graduation! Enjoy!

So Collegiate
Gurdeep and Kulwant were loving it!

Totally not a staged photo ;)

Westconn is Bestconn! Thanks for the memories!

I love a good themed party!

A couple weeks back my friend Sam threw a Surprise birthday party for her boyfriend! Who doesn't love a good surprise party? The theme was  a Hawaiian luau and we were all ask to dress accordingly. First I want to mention that I love when there is a dress code for anything I feel like it makes life easier and the more festive the better! Take a look at how she put all the things together as far as decorations and center pieces everything was done to the nines!

Talk about festive attire we were ready for the occasion

What a great idea to use the palm tree as a gift holder!

Welcome to the tropics!

Tiki torches! The only way to light up a luau!

The palm trees were suspended from the ceiling vents (it was perfection)

I love the face cutouts! It's always important to take time for a photo op!

Say Luau!

Since it was a birthday party after all the cake played a very important part and let me tell you this cake did not disappoint!  Check out the piece DE resistance!

Thirty Flirty and Thriving!
 (sassy pose)

The flip flops were not a flop in the least bit (absolutely delicious)

I think the goal of all hosts is to have the guests leaving with a great impression from your party, not only because of all the perfect little details but it really is all about the personal touches! I think the one of the most unique aspects to the party was the Bucket list
Tied into the theme and perfect for a birthday party!

Our parting gift!
(Time flies Happy 30th birthday Ryan!)

The Frisbees were such a hit! Everyone loved them and a party favor is always a nice touch to show your guests that you enjoyed their company and nice way to hold on to the memories!

No shirt
No shoes
No Problems!

Cheer's to a fabulous summer!
