Monogram Monday!

I LOVE MONOGRAMS! Literally there is nothing more perfect than owning something with your initials on it, in my opinion. It it because of my some what new found love of monograms that I have decided to dedicate a post to all things that I own with my monogram and am currently dying to have! I wish a gift giving holiday was coming up so I would have a reason to receive all of them :(. Until then here are all my favorite things!

First of all lets talk about the most perfect graduation gift from BB! I literally died when I got these and I could not have been happier!
Everybody needs weekend luggage so get to it people!

Not only do I love to carry my monogram around I love to wear it! This is a fabulous navy long sleeve that I bought in march so I really haven't been able to enjoy it to it's full potential but I can not wait until fall! I will be wearing it everyday #sorrynotsorry

Before all the navy and white it was all about the Purple Monogram and I have no regrets! These will forever be my favorites <3

Last but not least my graduation cap! I loved how it looked so simple and classic and it was such a nice touch to help make graduation a little more special.

Now for my favorite part all the things that I NEED IN MY LIFE!

These hats are just too fresh

For all the exciting summer adventures

No outfit is finished without the perfect sunnies!

A monogrammed clutch bag is a must have for fall and I will not rest until I have one!

Lastly this is the perfect everyday accessory and I the one item I am coveting the most!

What's your favorite wardrobe item? Are you a lover of monograms like I am? Leave your comments below!

Fabulous Finds Friday!

This week I was all about expanding my wardrobe and taking some risks as far as my everyday fashion goes and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. The first item that I decided to invest in were some bright pink ankle pants and they were a
hit! I was a little apprehensive at first but I think that my wardrobe was really in need of a pop of color. I also want to mention that these pants compliment my 100 navy tops perfectly so it was a win win all around, plus I got them on clearance so that made the purchase even more justified!

My other favorite purchase this week were my navy blue flats with the pointy toes! I don't have any pointed shoes so this was a really daring move for me but now that I have a pair I think I am a fan! They are so cute and versatile, you can dress them up for a night out of keep it cute and casual at the office or out running errands! As I mentioned before about my 100 navy tops I now have shoes to match them which makes me happy beyond belief! I also bought some skinny khaki pants for work which I love because number one they are so comfortable and number two khaki is the perfect compliment to navy I'm obsessed ! Lastly, I thought it was time to dress up my nails a little bit so I finally broke out Mint Candy Apple by Essie, which I have been dying to use and I think it is the perfect hue to start the send off of summer!

Fabulous Finds Friday 1

One last thing! I got all these items on sale! So make sure you go check out all the fabulous finds this weekend!

What's your favorite late summer purchase?

Happy August! XOXO-RPO1

I love a good themed party!

A couple weeks back my friend Sam threw a Surprise birthday party for her boyfriend! Who doesn't love a good surprise party? The theme was  a Hawaiian luau and we were all ask to dress accordingly. First I want to mention that I love when there is a dress code for anything I feel like it makes life easier and the more festive the better! Take a look at how she put all the things together as far as decorations and center pieces everything was done to the nines!

Talk about festive attire we were ready for the occasion

What a great idea to use the palm tree as a gift holder!

Welcome to the tropics!

Tiki torches! The only way to light up a luau!

The palm trees were suspended from the ceiling vents (it was perfection)

I love the face cutouts! It's always important to take time for a photo op!

Say Luau!

Since it was a birthday party after all the cake played a very important part and let me tell you this cake did not disappoint!  Check out the piece DE resistance!

Thirty Flirty and Thriving!
 (sassy pose)

The flip flops were not a flop in the least bit (absolutely delicious)

I think the goal of all hosts is to have the guests leaving with a great impression from your party, not only because of all the perfect little details but it really is all about the personal touches! I think the one of the most unique aspects to the party was the Bucket list
Tied into the theme and perfect for a birthday party!

Our parting gift!
(Time flies Happy 30th birthday Ryan!)

The Frisbees were such a hit! Everyone loved them and a party favor is always a nice touch to show your guests that you enjoyed their company and nice way to hold on to the memories!

No shirt
No shoes
No Problems!

Cheer's to a fabulous summer!

Summer Solstice Party!

This weekend has been one that I have been anticipating for such a long time! It was my graduation party/ summer solstice party! For the past three years I have been obsessed with having an all white summer solstice party, but it never really worked out but everyone knows that I have been talking about doing it and then when I realized that I could do my graduation party all tied in with it I was all about it. This was my first time hosting a party at my house and having all the responsibility of coordinating it. It was most definitely a learning experience and even though I was so stressed about all of it and I wanted it to go off with a hitch I can honestly say that I did not sit down and take a breath until about half and hour into the party but once I did get to enjoy it, I realized how happy I was not only with the party  but with all the people I love around me and celebrating with me! After all that's what I think is the most important thing about a party is the people the guest list definitely sets the tone and I can not explain how happy all of my guests made me and how I am so grateful that they showed up ;) (asking people to show up in all white was a gamble but everyone showed up dressed to the nines!) I wasn't able to take pictures of my own because my phone was the music hub for the evening so I didn't have anything to take any pictures with and taking pictures with my camera but a big thanks to my wonderful friends and family for taking all these fabulous pictures!

Ladies in white-such a beautiful sight

Yay for graduation!
Fierce, Fabulous, and Fashionable Friends!

I had so much fun planning the party and I was so happy with how it was all executed and came together! I can't wait until the next soirĂ©e!

A couple of things that I would like to add about the party that are kind of pictured above:
  •  I lined the party area with white balloons that were tied down with gold tee's.
  • Music is a must to make the mood, my selection was my Frank Sinatra station on Pandora
  • Food and Drinks; it is very important that you have enough for all your guests this could make or break the party!
  • Party favors are a nice touch to show your guest that you appreciate them coming
    • My guests left with

Personalized mason jars
Mini s'mores kits (perfect way to kick off summer!)

Lastly the most important thing about any party of gathering that you have are the thank you notes! In my opinion there is no better way of showing your appreciation than writing a hand written note to your guests because they've taken the time out of their day to celebrate you and a  little thank you note is your way of returning the gesture!
I'm off the write mine right now!

P. S: A big thank you to my cousin Noor for being my official photographer for the night along with my friends, Samantha, Lexy, and Brittany for sending me pictures from the party! Thank you!

Are you planning any parties this summer? What are some of your favorite tips for throwing a summer time bash?

Rainy Summer Days

I love a nice summer day as much as the next person but I have to confess that I LOVE rainy days! There is just something so perfect about the chill from the rain and the soothing sound it makes. It's perfect to sleep in, or just to hang around the house, or even get some work done because you don't feel tempted to go outside, but rather it's more of an inside kind of day and sometimes those are the best and exactly what you need. My absolute favorite part of a rainy day though is my rain accessories! A perfect outfit can just make your day and anytime I can wear my rain coat and rain boots I consider that day a win!

Rainy Day

I love splashing around in my Hunter Boots they were definitely a good investment and I would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for rain boots, and lets be honest here, who doesn't need some rain boots in their life? Well if you live in the North East like I do I hope this post was a pick up for you from this rainy weather, but it looks like its going to continue tomorrow! If rainy weather isn't your favorite however no fear! It looks like this weekend is going to be fabulous and sunny!

What do you like to do when it's raining?
